Brightening Facial Balm for Dry and Combination Skin

I like products that take care of our skin all year round and respond to different needs. The truth is that hardly any skin is just oily or just dry. If we are over 40, we also want the product to care for skin tension and give it radiance and energy.
Brightening Face Balm acts as an intense serum based on plant extracts and oils, ideal for sensitive skin. The balm does not clog pores, it is great for acne, combination skin, but also for sensitive and dry skin.

Each of its ingredients brings something special; Jasmine Wax, Olive Squalane, Organic Milk Thistle, Sea Buckthorn, Spanish Sage, Fig Opuntia and Wild Rose are the basis of our balm. These oils rich in fatty acids, minerals, vitamins are used on sensitive skin prone to dryness and redness. Extracts from Arnica and Helichrysum italicum, strengthen the weak and prone to cracking vessels, reduce the visibility of the so-called spider veins. Amaranthus cares for intense hydration. Extracts of Chinese Lemon (Shisandra), Sea-buckthorn, Wild Rose, Carrot, are a wealth of vitamin C, provitamin A, these extracts concentrate on epidermal regeneration, fight against free radicals, anti-wrinkle effect, brightening discoloration and evening out the color. Licorice Root Extract will have a soothing effect on the skin irritated by excessive tanning, brightening discolorations, and anti-inflammatory. Extracts of Evening Primrose, Calendula and Geranium oil will calm inflammation, strengthen sensitive skin. I guarantee that the desire to apply this lotion on your skin will appear more than once a day. You will love its delicate but characteristic herbal, slightly spicy fragrance with a piercing sweet note of jasmine.

Below is a little more about the unique ingredients of our Face Balm:

Jasmine Wax, this wax is obtained from jasmine flower petals, protects them from moisture loss. In traditional Indian medicine, it is used in combination skin products, supports pore cleansing, but also moisturizes and softens the skin. Its beautiful sweet fragrance has relaxing properties.

Oil from Milk Thistle (Silybum Marianum) known for centuries, primarily due to its detoxifying and liver protecting properties. Milk thistle fruits contain flavonolignans, called silymarin, organic acids, tannins, vitamins C and K, proteins, sugars, fats with a high content of linoleic acid and mineral salts. The silymarin complex, regenerates, protects liver cells against the effects of toxic compounds. Silymarin compounds have an antioxidant effect on skin cells, stimulate collagen production and have photoprotective effects against UVB radiation. Silymarin can also bleach, because it reduces the level of melanin in the skin. The use of silymarin ointment accelerates the healing of wounds and acne.

Rokitinika oil (Hippophae Rhamnoides), Rokitinika Fruit Extract is widely used in cosmetics thanks to the uncommon wealth of ingredients. It contains a lot of vitamins: Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), B vitamins, vitamin E, carotenoids, i.e. provitamin A, vitamin P, organic acids: malic, citric, unsaturated fatty acids: oleic, linoleic, isolinic, linolenic. Sea-buckthorn fruits are a natural source of vitamin C, which does not decompose quickly. Sea buckthorn contains the rare Omega 7 acid, supporting the anti-inflammatory properties of this extract. Rokitinki is used to treat dry skin with eczema.

Spanish Sage Oil (Chia). Surely you know those small, dark seeds that I myself add to my oatmeal. They come from South America and are extremely rich in fiber, protein, phosphorus, magnesium, unsaturated omega 3 and omega 6. The word Chia comes from the Spanish language and means oily. Cold pressed oil from these seeds, wonderfully supplements the diet and is used in cosmetics. Extremely high levels of fatty acids improve skin quality, omega 3 and 6 are anti-inflammatory and are used to treat inflammation. The oil is light and absorbs quickly, maintains skin hydration and has a smoothing effect.

Opuntia Fig oil, sometimes called "natural botox", works great in mature skin care. We use it in our Dry and Mature Skin Serum, the phytosterols contained in this oil will be responsible for the regeneration of the epidermis and inhibiting the loss of water from the skin.

Rosehip oil, one of my favorites; versatile ingredient, rich in vitamin C, A, a source of unsaturated fatty acids. It will add glow to our skin, accelerate regeneration, strengthen its elasticity, help lighten discolorations and scars, and protect against free radicals.

The Amaranthus Caudatus extract contains high levels of squalene, a delaying lipid, and is a very important component of the skin's lipid mantle. Squalene is a component of sebum and is directly exposed to a harmful factor in the environment. Scarlet extract has a protective effect against UV rays and protects the skin against dehydration. The Extarct of Szarłat has anti-inflammatory and healing properties, it is used in preparations for sensitive and atopic skin.

Extract of Chinese Schisandra (Schizandra Chinensis). Lemon fruit is used and known in the medicine of Asian countries. This plant naturally occurs in eastern Russia, China, Korea and Japan. Citrine fruits have adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer, antioxidant and detoxifying effects. Their unique chemical composition is based on the so-called a group of "Chinese lemon lignans". For fruit extracts, several properties that are particularly important for cosmetics have been proven; antioxidant, detoxifying, immunostimulatory, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, as well as skin whitening and brightening effects.

Licorice Root Extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra). This plant has fascinated me for a long time and it could not be missing in our wonderful balm. The history of its use dates back to BC, it was found even in the coffins of Egyptian rulers, was valued in Eastern medicine and is one of the main herbs used in Ayurveda. The Latin name of this plant is derived from Greek and means "sweet root" - the licorice root is 50 times sweeter than sugar. The licorice acid found in the licorice root is responsible for special properties, such as maintaining skin hydration, thanks to the strong water binding properties, has antibacterial and astringent properties, which is why it is used in acne cosmetics. Glycirizine relieves inflammation of the skin, itching is also known for its skin lightening properties. Preparations with licorice root are used to treat eczema, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis.

Organic Arnica Extract has anti- edematous, anti-inflammatory and capillary vasoconstrictive effects.

The balm is also a very efficient 15 ml jar, which lasts for over a month in the morning and evening, leaving the skin moisturized throughout the day. Remember that the best results will be obtained when we apply the balm to the skin moistened with water (hydrolate).
