I always knew that I wanted to create a mask for the so-called "crisis situations", when our skin either starts to get oily or blemishes start to appears. In my adolescence, I used to be smeared in zinc ointment and I totally understand how frustrating it can be. My mask was supposed to be the answer for those who expect a quick and real bacterial killer. A cosmetic that can be effectively applied to eczema. After testing various extracts for many years, I composed my mask from those that never let me down, worked quickly and did not irritate the skin.
I have always been delighted with Manuka. I saw how it works on the skin to aid healing and how it deals with bacteria. I also used oil from neem tree, which, as indicated by papyri from Egypt, has been used medicinally for 1550 years before Christ. This oil is widely used in Ayurveda and is commonly used in India, Thailand, Sri Lanka and has strong antibacterial properties. Neem is also the basis of our tested Serum for Oily and Combination Skin. The combination of clay, zinc and neem oil in our mask gives a great cleansing effect and prevents skin dryness. We also used turmeric, black cumin, willow bark, carrot root, calendula, evening primrose, lavender and thyme extracts that help skin regeneration. Together, there are as many as 18 unique ingredients.
Just a few words about unique ingredients of our face mask;
Melia Azadirachta Seed Oil / Neem Oil is extracted from the seeds of neem tree. It has been used for centuries in Indian medicine as one of the strongest plant medicines that purify and detoxify the blood and the body. Neem contains several biological active ingredients, including azadirachtin A, nimbin, salannin, azadirachtol. These compounds are responsible for the antibacterial and antifungal properties of this plant. Neem is used in India for various skin diseases. Its moisturizing and skin regenerating abilities are used to treat difficult-to-heal wounds and eczema. Virtually every part of the neem tree has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years. In Pakistan, bathing in the leaves of this tree for children suffering from skin diseases is practiced. In tropical countries, the leaves are burbed to protect against mosquitoes and during disease, the oil is used for muscle and joint pain. Because it kills parasites, it is also used in cleansing therapies.
The mask has creamy / pasty consistency that is easy to spread, does not need to be mixed with water and is dense enough that you can apply it only on certain parts of the body. 15 ml jar will last for 2 months of frequent use (2-3 times a week) on the entire surface of the skin. By applying the mask only on specific spots, the jar will last for 3-4 months.
