Tulsi and Vetiver Body Lotion was created for skins that need intensive regeneration. When itching and irritation constantly return and when moisturizing is not enough. It has an unusual composition of essential oils (Ylang-Ylang, Vetiver  and  Tulsi (Holy Basil) used in aromatherapy as highly relaxing,  thoughts calming, body cleansing. This balm is based on unique oils that have been used in India for hundreds of years: Karanja, Bakuchi and Chaulmogra.
 Karanja oil comes from the Karanja tree (Pongamia glabra) and has been used in Ayurveda - Indian folk medicine for hundreds of years. It is used on the skin with infections, ulcers, herpes, and eczema. It has  properties of absorbing UV radiation and reduces damage to the skin caused by sunlight. Karanja oil has antibacterial properties, promotes wound healing, and is also used to treat uneven pigmentation in the treatment of vitiligo or scabies lesions. 
 Chaulmoogra Oil;  contains two strong antibacterial ingredients like hydnocarpic and chaulmoogric acid, responsible for the eliminating bacteria. It is also used in the treatment of skins acne and sebum regulation. It is also used to treat uneven pigmentation.
 Bakuchi / Babchi Olej  (Psoralea Corylifolia Oil), an oil known in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine, used in cosmetics for sensitive and mature skin. One of its components is an isolated extract known as Bakuchiol, used in anti-aging products with retinol-like properties. Oil is used in the care of acne skin and with the problem of psoriasis. Its antibacterial properties have been used in the treatment of leprosy. It is used in after-sun products and has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. 
 
 We have added extracts to our balm to strengthen its regenerating properties;
 Sea buckthorn extract (Hippophae Rhamnoides), which  improves circulation, when used in the treatment of bruises and contusions. It accelerates  healing of the skin and it works well when used in place of postoperative sutures. Sea buckthorn extract is also used for sun burns. 
 Wild Rose Extract (Rose Canina Seed Extract) accelerates  regeneration of the epidermis and is rich in vitamin C, F.  Amaranth Caudatus Seed Extract is rich in amino acids - lysine, an extract that improves the structure of proteins, including collagen and elastin in our skin. 
 
 In my opinion, the balm is intriguing with its unique fragrance which is a combination of the sweet floral notes of Ylang-Ylang, herbal and woody Vetiver grass and finally clove-sweet-herbal from Holy Basil (Tulsi). 
 
 Ylang- ylang (Cananga Odorata) -  is an oil that adds a sweet, relaxing, floral note to our composition. It blends beautifully with the woody and herbal aroma of Vetiver oil. Cananga Odorata has been used for centuries to treat insomnia, migraines and nervousness.
 Vetiver  (Vetiveria zizanioides) is an oil with the scent of grass, tree and smoke. Just like Ylang-Ylang oil, it has calming properties, cools our irritated skin and calms the state of mind. 
 Tulsi, Holy Basil (Ocimum sanctum) oil has become the heart of our composition and will appear in our series for mixed skins. The extraordinary properties of Tulsi have always been valued in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine as purifying the mind, body and spirit. First, I was delighted with the fragrance, which is a mixture of sweet notes; mint, cloves, basil and licorice, then its properties. Tulsi oil by itself, rich in antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, will work in the treatment of acne skin and sensitive skin. It is full of iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C and vitamin K, which accelerates regeneration and maintains a healthy level of collagen. 
 
 Our Balm is Vegan, packed in a 60ml glass jar. You can use it as often as you need, but due to its aromatherapeutic and relaxing properties, I suggest using it especially in the evening, or when needed to calm our thoughts.
