The idea for this mask came about a long time ago, when I was still running my own cosmetics store in Brooklyn. I met a lot of customers who were asking for non-drying facial mask that doesn't need to be washed off. I noticed that there were definitely more masks for contaminated and oily skin on the market but less for sensitive and dry skin. From the moment I tried the oil from Milk Thistle and Chia Seeds (Spanish Sage), I knew that these light oils would be great for sensitive skin and they became the basis for my new moisturizing mask. I also wanted these ingredients to be in the mask as well: Aloe, Algae-Spirulina, Extract from Amaranth, Sea-buckthorn, Licorice Root, Chamomile. They all intensively support hydration, act as antioxidants and soothe irritation. This is a perfect mask for the summer in the form of a lotion. It can be used after sunbathing and anytime we feel our skin is dry and irritated. No need to wash it off or prepare it before use. 

 Our unique ingredients are: 
 Rhus Verniciflua Peel Cera, also called Berry Wax, is actually a wax from the skin of Japanese sumac fruit. It creates a softening layer on the skin surface that prevents moisture loss. 
 Theobrama Cacao Seed Butter (cocoa butter). Contains natural antioxidants that neutralize free radicals. Can be used by pregnant and lactating women. 
 Glycine Soy Oil, Soybean Oil creates a protective nourishing film while softening, smoothing and oiling the skin. It prevents skin aging and accelerates regeneration. 
 Squalane, Olive Squalane is a colorless and odorless light oil, which is a natural component of human sebum. It is very well tolerated by the skin and does not cause irritation. Prevents moisture loss, smooths the skin and has antibacterial properties. 
 Silybum Marianum Seed Oil, Milk Thistle Oil is a powerful antioxidant. It moisturizes, rebuilds the epidermal lipid barrier and stimulates the renewal of skin cells. Milk thistle fruits contain flavonolignans called silymarin, organic acids, vitamins C and K, and mineral salts. Silymarin has an antioxidant effect, stimulates collagen production and has photo-protective effect against UVB radiation. 
 Salvia Hispanica Seed Oil, Sage oil. This oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids; LA linoleic acid, ALA linolenic acid, Omega 9, 3 and 6. These acids have strong antioxidant properties that reduce the effects of oxidative stress on the skin. It is anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, stimulates the regeneration of epithelium and connective tissue. Ideal for use after sunbathing, after cosmetic peels and for conditions such as urticaria or eczema. 
 Opuntia Fiscus - Indica Seed Oil - Extract of dried prickly pear flowers. It has strong moisturizing and anti-wrinkling properties. It prevents trans-epidermal water loss and strengthens the skin against the harmful effects of UV radiation. It is recommended especially for dry, dehydrated skin. It also helps to reduce discoloration and scars. 
 Azadirachta Indica Seed Oil, Indian Honey Oil is full of antioxidants such as vitamin E and carotenoids that effectively slow down aging. Removes sebum and bacteria from the skin surface, has antibacterial properties. 
 Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract, Extract of Amaranthus Sagittarius, contains a high amount of squalene, proteins, vitamins A, B and E. It has photo-protective properties and absorbs UV radiation. The extract has anti-inflammatory, healing and finds application in preparations for sensitive and atopic skin. 
 Oenothera Biennis Seed Extract, Evening Primrose Extract, rich in natural unsaturated fatty acids. The only oil that contains up to 73% cis-linoleic acid, the richest natural source of biologically active vitamin F. 
 Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Aloe Leaf Extract, has an analgesic effect, accelerates wound healing, soothes redness, has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. 
 Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Root Extract, Ural licorice root extract. Glycyrrhizinic acid found in the licorice root has special skin moisturizing properties, soothes dermatitis, and itching. Licorice root has skin brightening properties. 
 Citrus Aurantifolia Peel Oil , an organic lime peel extract. The substance normalizes the secretion of sebum, exfoliates the natural epidermis, lime peel contains enzymes and fruit acids. It has antibacterial properties, soothes inflammation. 
 Bisabolol , a natural ingredient that is found in chamomile essential oil. It soothes irritations, accelerates healing processes, has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. 
 Lavandula Angustifolia Oil , Organic Narrow-leaved English Lavender Oil, is an amazing relaxing aroma and soothing effect on the skin. 
 Chamomilla Recutita Flower Oil, Chamomile oil . It contains mainly bisabolol, chamazulen, myrcene, spiroeter. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties, stimulates skin renewal. Chamazulen present in chamomile oil has properties that inhibit histamine activity, therefore it is anti-allergic, soothes irritation, flaking and itching of the skin. 
 Tanacetum Annuum Flower Oil, Blue tansy oil, Moroccan tansy . It has a high content of chamazulene, which has a soothing effect. Chamazulene is a natural suppressant of histamine secretion, it can soothe allergies. 
 Hippophane Rhamnoides Fruit Extract , sea buckthorn fruit extract has a high dose of vitamin A, E, C and fatty acids, including the rare Omega -7. 
 Spirulina Platensis Powder. Extract from emerald green spirulina microalgae contains vitamins A, B, C, E, biotin, folic acid, pantothenic acid, manganese, zinc, copper, boron, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, selenium, calcium. The ingredient is strongly moisturizing, protecting, nourishing, regenerating, tightening and firming the skin. It is a strong antioxidant as well.

 Usage: 
 The mask should be applied to clean face skin, which is moistened with water or hydrolate. Avoid the eye area. After 30 minutes, you can wipe off excess or leave to absorb. It can be used (4-5) times a week.
